Chulita Vinyl Club! ~ Come hear what's blowing our minds ~ $5 - 20 sliding scale ~ 10:00 pm - 2:00 am
The urgency to support the fight for clean water and sacred land has intensified as the United States Army Corps of Engineers attempts to drive indigenious peoples and allies out of the Oceti Sakowin encampments by December 5th.
The Corps has stated that anyone who chooses to remain at the encampments “does so at their own risk, and assumes any and all corresponding liabilities for their unlawful presence.”
As supporters of this critical struggle, we anticpate that the militarized police force will exercise the full bredth of its power in the coming days. While we recognize the need for diversity of supportive strategies, we see contributing to the Sacred Stone Legal Defense Fund as a way to help ensure the sustainability of this struggle, and as means to keep people out of jail/prison & supported in court if necessary.
On Wednesday, November 30th we will open up space to those who want to support #NoDAPL while dancing to sets of soul-funk-disco-pop and psychedelic sounds from around the globe.
Join the International Freakout A Go-Go crew and Chulita Vinyl Club Bay Area in this effort to round up funds for the future struggle at Standing Rock.
21+ / $5-$20 sliding scale at the door / positive vibes only
We still say NO to the Dakota Access Pipeline, and will support the struggle of indigenious peoples and water protectors in any ways possible.
