Don’t miss out on the psychedelic sounds of Dorotheo (Guadalajara, MX) as they make their way up and down the West Coast with their SF/GDL bi-national amigos Francisco y Madero. Having opened for Tame Impala in their home city as well as being a VICE|Noisey fave, these guys are fully equipped to melt your mind.

"A stunner, dreamy, and strummy, and psychedelic, moody and melancholic, the traditional guitars/bass/drums augmented by violin, which gives the sound a sweeping, epic and emotional vibe, not to mention the powerful vocals... equal parts Pixies/Breeders pop smarts, and shoegaze-y Mazzy Star haze... slow building to something much more epic, maybe like a girl pop Godspeed if that makes any sense. It's definitely indie pop, but with a lush sonic palette, and a propensity for epicry that definitely makes sea knight something special... a perfect mix of folky strum, a little twang, classic old school indie rock, heavy on the nineties, with plenty of noisiness and unexpected mathiness mixed in." — Aquarius Records

Jess Sylvester & Remezcla-featured Carlos Pesina found common ground in their love of vintage and modern pop, rock and psychedelia and decided to form a group together. Naming themselvesFrancisco Y Madero they built enough material via internet dropboxes and visits to Guadalajara to comprise their second EP, Love Songs For Dating. The EP nods to 60′s psychedelic pop from both the U.S. (in its harmonies) and Latin America (in it’s rhythms) but is built from a combination of live instruments, vocals and samples. They will be playing with another favorite psych band from Mexico, Dorotheo, and Sea Knight!
