Her chapbook is forthcoming from 421 Atlanta. Candy Shue writes poetry and other things promiscuously. Her writing has appeared in Washington Square Review, Drunken Boat, sparkle and blink, The Collagist, and other journals. She has read at Lit Crawl, Quiet Lightning, Bay Area Generations, Under the Influence, Beast Crawl, and Writing Without Walls and she has received fellowships from Kundiman and The Provincetown Fine Arts Workshop. Siamak Vossoughi was born in Tehran, Iran in 1972 and lived in London, Orange County, and Seattle growing up. He attended the University of Washington, majoring in English, and afterwards moved to San Francisco, in large part because of the way the city was described in the short stories of William Saroyan. His stories have appeared inFaultline, Fourteen Hills, Prick of the Spindle, The Massachusetts Review, and River and Sound Review. He often participates in readings in San Francisco, usually through the Quiet Lightning series. As an Iranian-American writer, he figures it is his job to write with love for Iranians and Americans. It is a lonely business but he wouldn’t trade it. Deborah Steinberg’s writing has been published in Monkeybicycle, Shelflife, The Café Irreal, Blood and Thunder, and other journals. She is co-editor of the anthology Writing That Risks: New Work from Beyond the Mainstream, published by Red Bridge Press, where she is a founding editor. She is also the fiction editor of Rivet: The Journal of Writing That Risks. Deborah lives in San Francisco, where she facilitates writing workshops with a focus on healing, serves on the board of the literary reading series Bay Area Generations, and sings in the a cappella group Conspiracy of Venus. http://deborahsteinberg.wordpress.com/ Andrew O. Dugas's (doo-giss-iz) work has appeared in Instant City, LITNIMAGE, Mixer, the SoMa Literary Review, and many other places. His novel SLEEPWALKING IN PARADISE has just been published by Numina Press. There is a fair to middlin' chance he's mailed you a haiku on a postcard. Joe Clifford is acquisitions editor for Gutter Books, managing editor of The Flash Fiction Offensive, and producer of Lip Service West, a “gritty, real, raw” reading series in Oakland, CA. Joe is the author of four books (Choice Cuts, Junkie Love, Wake the Undertaker, and Lamentation), as well as editor of Trouble in the Heartland: Crime Stories Based on the Songs of Bruce Springsteen.
