Starting around 7pm, I'll be playing dynamite records by some of Stax's lesser known artists, like Otis Redding protege Johnny Daye ("What'll I Do for Satisfaction") and Ruby Johnson ("Weak Spot"). Sam and Dave, Eddie Floyd and Jean Knight will be in the rotation, with Booker T and The MGs being represented with two album tracks, one from the Jules Dassin film "Up Tight," the other a heavy soul interpretation of Jimi Hendrix's "Foxey Lady."
