Monthly happy hour featuring Punk, Powerpop, Post Punk, New Wave, Indie Pop/C86, Rock n Roll records with DJ Andy P and Jessica B.
After some additional consideration, we've decided we'll be splitting the proceeds from the evening between two important charities:
1. Half the proceeds will go the Gray Area fund, which seems to be becoming the "official" fund, and will be split between all victims. https://www.youcaring.com/firevictimsofoaklandfiredec232016-706684
2. As we have come to understand this disaster was also a terrible blow to the trans community, the other half will go to the Trans Assistance Project, who have established a fund that will go directly to the funeral services and end of life costs for the trans women who lost their lives; medical care for a trans survivor of the fire; and remaining funds donated to TAP in the name of Feral Pines, one of the victims who had previously accessed TAP's services. https://www.transassistance.org/oakland-donations
