| Nancy Pop is a Romanian-American actress, producer, director, and writer from Reghin, raised between Pennsylvania and Arkansas, currently based in NYC. Her desire to explore the nuances of relational intimacy inspire her to craft women-driven narratives with elements of rebellious, childlike curiosity. Pop graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a B.A. in Theatre Performance and Playwriting, and has trained with The Second City (Chicago), Magnet Theatre (NYC), Berg Studios (Los Angeles), and Pacific Performance Project East. She directed the feature film Poets Are The Destroyers which is currently screening across the globe in select venues and festivals. It has been awarded “Best Feature” at the Andromeda Film Festival, “Best Comedy” at New York Women International Film Festival, and Top 20 Semi-Finalist in the Feature Film Category at the Lonely Wolf International Film Festival.
