WHEEL of KARAOKE! ~ is a fun karaoke game show where audience members sing songs while taking on the Wheel of Fate in hopes to win the grand prize! Guest comedians, musicians, & vaudeville acts cameo throughout the night. ~ FREE! ~ 9:00 pm
"WHEEL of KARAOKE!" is a fun and engaging game show judged and MC'd by local comics and entertainers. Audience members receive a raffle ticket for the chance to compete, a la "The Price is Right." Contestants spin the wheel of fate to determine an added challenge for their song performance. (Challenge categories include: upside down, I'm not touching you, tempo shift- to name a few.) Then they're judged by the comics on accuracy, creativity and likability. Yes, it's subjective. The two top scoring singers go head to head in the pure talent round where we (judges) choose their song and they can make use of costumes, audience members, dance and special skills to create their best one song act. Oh yeah, you get five minutes to prep for that.
