In addidition we have my good pal and musical mentor, the extraordinary Mike Coykendall is in the home stretch of a coast to coast tour for his new record "Half Past Present Pending". Mike was the leader of the great SF band The Old Joe Clarks before leaving us for Portland 16 years ago. Since then he has released a series of great solo records, and toured and recorded extensively with M. Ward, and She and Him, as well as producing and or recording scores of great records for folks like Blitzen Trapper, Jolie Holland, Richmond Fontaine, The Minus 5 and many more. Mike's former bandmate Kurt Stevenson and his wife Kate Maher Kate Kurt make up the fine duo The Neighborly Deeds. Maurice Tani is one of my favorite singer/songwriters in the Bay Area, or just about anywhere. All of this and yours truly will be working out our musical issues onstage. The show starts early and is FREE, so, no excuses, come on down!! |
