 | The ROB BAYNE BAND + The BOOTLEG HONEYS + BOBBY WEBB BAND! $8 Show @ 7:00PM! 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm This will be a fantastic night of music, featuring 3 excellent bands: The RB Band, the Bobbie Webb Band, and the Bootleg Honeys. Bobbie Webb is a Bay Area Blues institution, having played with a who's who of American blues musicians (i.e. Etta James, Albert King, B.B. King, and John Lee Hooker just to name a few), and also hosting his own weekly blues/R&B radio program on KPOO (every Tuesday, 9 AM - Noon). The Bootleg Honeys are a not-to-be-missed new group from the North Bay, who were recently selected to appear at the Kate Wolf Music Festival this summer, in what is shaping up to be a pretty smoking line-up that includes Smokey Robinson, Judy Collins, Steve Earl, Iron and Wine, Maria Maldaur, and a bunch of other fantastic acts. And of course, my band (the Rob Bayne Band) which features some truly amazing musicians, including guitar wizard Steve Bissinger (on electric, acoustic and lap steel guitars); Lee Bloom, one of the finest keyboardists/pianists in the Bay Area, Daniel Fabricant on bass (one of the best and most sought after bassists in the Bay Area), and the one and only Nick Sager, who is quite possibly the most grooving and rocking and ebullient drummers on this fragile blue planet of ours.
