| Join the Movement presents: A Fundraising Happy Hour for Women’s Audio Mission! Women’s Audio Mission is changing the face of sound by providing hands-on training, work experience, career counseling and job placement to over 1,500 women and girls every year in creative technology for music, radio, film, television and the internet. JTM is an entertainment based resistance initiative and we stand by how WAM works to empower women, while teaching them how to build their own platform! We have live performances by: Siri, Cat Mahatta, and LOUDA! Dj sets by: Wam Bam Ashleyanne and Tylawave. $6 at the door all proceeds go directly to Women’s Audio Mission There is a lot of pain and infuriating issues in this country and beyond, it’s hard to separate them. We have hope that through art, media, and activism we can learn to hold each other up and fight back against all corrupt systems, while making sure to have some fun while doing it!! |   |
