DJ FOODCOURT PRESENTS The Intelligence and Heron Oblivion. Doors at 8. Show at 9. DJ FOODCOURT and DJ BABYPANTS (Justin McNeil) spin happy hour and beyond! What the people are saying: Pitchfork: "The Intelligence was formed by Lars Finberg of the A Frames. They are one of the greatest bands on the planet. Lars birthday is the same weekend as this gig so it might be the greatest show ever. Heron Oblivion is a band that features Noel and Ethan of Comets on Fire, Meg Baird, and Charlie from Assembled Head in Sunburst Sound. Combining these two bands on stage should be illegal" Kilbert, age 14, Pitchfork. Rolling Stone: "The new Bruno Mars record is not as good as the Arcade Fire record" MOJO: "DJ FOODCOURT stole the show, as well as many drugs in Ibiza. The next time he plays, which is with The Intelligence and Heron Oblivion in San Francisco at The Make Out Room on June 5th, you should call in sick on the 6th because your job and life will be meaningless thereafter" SF CHRONICLE: "Sammy Hagar and friends really stole the show at that one gig they keep doing. But go see The Intelligence and Heron Oblivion on June 5th at The Make Out Room regardless" THE ZEBRAS https://www.facebook.com/thezebrasband After performing at this years SF POPFEST and returning from NYC POPFEST the Zebras are gracious enough to play for us again before returning home. "PURE POP THE WAY IT SHOULD BE MADE — Teenage Fanclub's influence has been enormous, and the likes of Brisbane six-piece the Zebras show it loud and proud on Worry A Lot. It's a simple pop formula, but when handled with a touch of class it works a charm. Short sweet and to the point, the Zebras don't need to fret at all, they're onto a nice thing here." Rolling Stone THE IAN FAYS https://www.facebook.com/TheIanFays The Ian Fays are comprised of twin sister singer-songwriters, Sara and Lizzie Fay. Based out of San Francisco California, the girls have found their niche combining imagery, personal tales, ghostly harmonies, and melodic keys into indie-pop creations (topped with a bow). Following at 9:30pm ~ FRiGO-iNTERNATiONAL DiSCOTHEQUE Special Edition: MONDAY I've got WEDNESDAY on my MIND!
