UNPLUG! presents a Nu Disco/Funk/Soul/Boogie night dropping both new tracks, and rare classics.
This event aims to introduce people to songs and artists they may have never heard before, to keep the SF music scene diverse and fresh. We're taking it back to a time when the DJ taught people about new music, and was not merely there to take requests and look good for TikTok reels.
You'll hear some semi familiar artists like Chromeo, Breakbot, Duck Sauce, and Purple Disco Machine, but also tons of stuff you've never heard before, so be sure to have your Shazam app ready. We'll also be sprinkling in some classics. Some you may recognize, but much more that you haven't.
