Her writing has also appeared in The New York Times, Salon.com, LA Review of Books and Huffington Post. Last year Josiah’s book of poesia “Baby Axolotl & Old Pochos” was published by Black Freighter Press. He currently makes a living hustling books and tending portals as one of the owners of Medicine For Nightmares Bookstore and Galleria over on 24th Street in the heart of La Mission. Ramona Laughing Brook Webb is an Afro-Creek Muskogee Queer performing artist and healing artist. Mona is the first Poet-in-Residence at UCSF's National Center of Excellence in Women's Health and UCSF's Black Women's Health and Livelihood, where she works at the intersections of performance art, culture change and improved communications around gender and racial/ethnic disparities and health disparities. Mona Webb also serves as the Associate Artistic Director of San Francisco's Queer Cultural Center, which is the producer of the Bay Area's National Queer Arts Festival. About Writers With Drinks: Writers With Drinks has won numerous "Best ofs" from local newspapers, and has been mentioned in 7x7, Spin Magazine and one of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City novels.
